At first, I found a picture of the most beautiful tortie-girl and wrote to the breeder asking if she was somewhere as a breedingcat. Soon I got an answer; Sheila is living as a pet in Norway. However, there was going to be a litter from the same combination that Sheila was from.

In the fall, when I first e-mailed Vigdis, I was searching for a male. Due to a sum of many sad things, I realized that I needed a female instead of the male.

When Solina finally had her kittens, there were three girls; f 03 22, g 03 22 and n 09 23. I got to pick out of those three and at first I thought that the brown one was the one that I wanted. I booked her when she was a week old, but when the kittens were 7 weeks old, I fell in love with Iines so badly, that I wanted her instead. Luckily for me, she was still available :-)

Shamicka is a very affectionate girl: she sleeps side by side with me and tries to lick my fingers and toes all the time :-) She talks a lot and is soooo beautiful. She is very differrent from my other cats, she is very elegant, curious and she wants to lay on my lap every chance she gets. She loves everyone and doesn't understand why the other cats are not always so happy with her :-)

Thank you Vigdis and Lars for this wonderful girl and for everything else, too! I had such a nice evening with you, and it was great to see pictures of old forestcats and even get a copies of their pedigrees.

Shamicka is like a dream come true!
