Diary - Kassu & Iines

Kassu's long waiting was finally rewared at in April, when Iines decided that it was time to go on a date... After I caught Roope and Iines in full act, I was convinced that Iines needed to get to her "real" red boyfriend and soon. Roope is more than willing to help out the girls, but I'm no so happy about it myself.
17.4. The journey to Riihimäki begun. From the start Iines was eager to check out the honeymoon suite, but the future groom got the boot if/when he tried to approach her. "I'm not that easy, you know..".
18.4. The couple got to know each other a little better... and 19.4 in the morning I had a message from Päivi that they had sealed the deal.. :-))
20.4. Iines came home. The young couple was so exhausted that they had the energy to lay next to each other and wash each other. Now the only thing I can do is wait if the mating was a success...

10.05. I managed to get Iines to a scale this morning and the weight was up 150g (in three weeks). But at least she is getting heavier. I definately "see red" when looking at her stomach, so hopefully there will e kittens aroung 24.6.!
14.5. The weight has gone up a 100g more in a few days! Iines has started eating better, so let's wait and see just how much weight she will gain :-)
Iines and Saga have been trying to determine who's the boss a couple of times, but I think Saga still has the upper hand. I'm hoping that they don't start to fight more.
18.5. Iines has gained about 400g within these last 4 weeks. Her pregnancy is starting to show: she has been always very thin and now she has a round tummy :-))
29.5. A few pictures of Iines and the new improved "kitten"room. I had to make some arrangements, so that there will be more time for Iines and the babies.
Iines has gained around 550g in almost 6 weeks. I would suggest that she will gain 1 kg in total and there won't be more than 4 kittens. But I'm only guessing :-) She is still very small, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were only a few kittens.
2.6. Iines has gained 720g now, and 43 days have passed. She seems to be hungry all the time, but it's a bit hard for her, because she doesn't like any food ;-) She is very affectionate and is waiting to be cuddled and praised all the time... From the moment I get back from work, she is all over me :-)
4.6. +829g... 5.6. +880g 6.6. +932g Strangly Iines seems to be getting +50g a day now. She is eating turkey with good apetite and James Wellbeloved's kitten is also high on her list.
8.6. Iines has gained over 1 kg now, 1060g is the amount at the moment. Who knows, maybe she will gain 2kg in total? She is already having a hard time washing herself, so maybe the amount of kittens is also higher than 2...
10.6. + 1160g. Iines has a good apetite and a round belly :-)
12.6. +1262g... 15.6. +1400g. At least for now it seems that her belly isn't equal, so I'm guessing either 3 or 5 kittens. It's day 56 now.
18.6 Kassu's mom visited us yesterday and she thought that Iines is BIG. And maybe she is, I just haven't thought about it that way before.
21.6. Nothing yet, but it's only day 62 now. Iines has been a bit restless at times, but she is still eating and the kittens are moving A LOT in her belly. She seems to be looking at her belly, thinking that only an alien can come out of there...
